Locate It All – Successfully locating Unexploded Ordinances (UXO) in the Philippines
Subsite® 2550GR Ground Penetrating Radar System
On 24 Apr, USAE Philippines office, Infrastructure Equipment and Services (IES), had a very successful GPR Demo at the proposed staging Area for the Philippine National Railway (PNR) Clark Station. We were able to successfully demonstrate that the Subsite® 2550GR GPR can be successfully used to locate unexploded ordinances (UXO) prior to excavating at a jobsite.
The Blue Flags mark the areas with high magnetic responses indicating there are potentially UXOs buried there.

The customer selected 5 target points for us to scan, points 27 – 31. We scanned in a Grid and measured 5meters around the target points and marked the locations where they should excavate with flags.

At point 31 we got this reading indicating a possible UXO or utility.
With the results from the Subsite 2550GR Ground Penetrating Radar System the customer can safely excavate the point and safely remove the ordinance.

Meet the smallest gyro mapping tool in the world! The ABM-30 is the latest addition to the Reduct mapping system family. Built on the back of Reduct’s tried and tested MEMS based technology, this groundbreaking device trade size ducts DN40 and 1¼”, regardless of their SDR rating.
With a diameter of just 25mm/1”, the ABM-30 is fitted with bespoke soft-foam spacers to ensure optimal alignment inside the duct. Due to the soft nature of the foam spacers, the ABM-30 can negotiate bends with a minimum radius of 0.6m / 2‘, and is able to pass duct deformations up to 20% of the duct’s diameter.

Trenchless Asia 2018 was held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 07/May to 08/May.

The purpose of this demonstration is to train and illustrate the performance of the Hammerhead Mole 2” Piercing Tool on actual job-site for customers. This demonstration is to install 1 nos. of 25mm PE pipe at distance of 7 to 8 meters housing road crossing.

Demo of The Ditch Witch JT10 on 20th – 21st February 2018.
The purpose of this demonstration is to illustrate the performance of the Ditch Witch JT10 to install 3-Ø40mm HDPE pipe at the minimum distance and maximum distance. Our demonstration is to drill in two cases; short bore and long bore. There are two bores executed in this demonstration, which are 38-m bore and 81-m bore with the required depth is in a range of 1.5 – 2.0 meter. Both bores demonstrated the entire HDD procedures (Pilot Bore, Pullback).
The JT10 performed as expected and successfully drilled and installed the product over the prescribed distances.

USAE India (USAEI) has moved to its headquarter from Kolkata to Navi Mumbai. The Navi Mumbai office will be the main USAE service centre in India. This facility will warehouse new and used equipment and parts in India. We will repair and service all USAE equipment from this facility. We are also supporting Reliance Jio Infocomm (RJI) with our Ditch Witch equipment for their 4G project covering 120,000 km inter-city fibre optic network. Ditch Witch, DW/TXS and other equipment and parts will be warehoused in this facility. Our service engineers and technicians will be available on a 24/7 basis from this facility.
This represents the continuation of our commitment to provide superior after sales support and spare parts for our customers in India.

CMW the manufacturers of Ditch Witch underground equipment has appointed USAE as the Ditch Witch dealer for Vietnam. USAE will opening an office in Vietnam to market, sell, and service Ditch Witch equipment in Vietnam.
