TERRA-HAMMER
The economical Underground Piercing Tool

The TERRA-HAMMER is used for trenchless pipe and cable laying as an underground piercing tool. The pneumatically powered TERRA-HAMMER forces it’s way through the ground underneath roads, railways, gardens, etc. It operates fast and accurate. Pipes for gas, water, sewerage, electricity, telecom etc. are pulled into the mini tunnels of Ø 45 - 245 mm.

THE TRACEABLE TERRA-HAMMER

Longitudinal grooves can be surveillanced in position and depth of the TERRA-HAMMER’s accurate on centimeters. The optional tracking equipment for traceable TERRA-HAMMER’s comprise a self-contained transmitter in the combi head (KOK-LD) and a hand-held receiver RD 400 ND with LCD-display. Existing obstacles like power lines or drains can be undercrossed on the safe side even in a length of 20 mtrs (66 ft). The traceable depth is about 2.5 mtrs (8.25 ft).

OPTION I: The TERRA-HAMMER TU with the changeable combi head is equipped with the traceable KOK adapter LD from the beginning on. The self-contained transmitter and the hand-held receiver RD 400 ND with LCD-display can be ordered easily later on.

OPTION II: The TERRA-HAMMER TU is purchased from the beginning on with the traceable KOK adapter LD, the self-contained transmitter and the hand-held receiver RD 400 ND with LCD-display. Traceable bores can be done immediately.

IMPORTENT: The TERRA-HAMMER T with the fixed combi head (KOK) can not be equipped with the traceable head (KOK LD).

The problem:	5 PVC pipes AD 110 mm had to be laid underneath a 9 m wide road.

The solution:	The TERRA-HAMMER TU 135 S laid the 5 PVC pipes directly by underground piercing. The dimensions of the starting and aiming pits 1.5 m x 1.5 m.

The TERRA-HAMMER TU 135 S reaches the target pit with the fifth pipe.

The accuracy of the TERRA-HAMMER is the result of the patented combihead KOK. The TERRA-HAMMER may also be delivered with the traceable head KOK-LD.
